Adding Image

This tutorial video presents how to add a photo to a page in a site and the different management options available. You can upload photos to the website directly from the page manager in the management system. In this article we will discuss the options available to you when uploading and managing images.

Adding an image to a page

1. Click the "Images" icon located at the bottom drag and drop menu. The icon can be found under the "Basic" and "Multimedia" tabs.

2. When the icon is clicked, you can drag it to the desired location on the page.

After dragging the image icon to the page, we will see the following:

3. Click "Click here to add" and then "Replace" in the drop down menu.

4. A new window will open in which you can choose where you'd like to upload the image from.

Free upload - by clicking "Browse", you can upload any image from your computer. The image will be uploaded to the page and will be saved in the website's file manager's main file.
Choose from the file manager - this option allows you to upload an image from the website's file manager.
External link - you can insert a link to an image not located in the website's file manager but that is available online.
Choose from system image database - in the system's gallery, you can find hundreds of images in various topics for you to use freely on your website.

5. When finished, click "Apply"

6. Click "Save" at the top left corner of the management system in order to save the changes made to the page.

Image management

After adding an image to a page, you can edit it by clicking the image and choosing one of the options available in the drop down menu.

Replace - clicking this button will present the previous window for choosing an image.
Edit - this will allow you to graphically edit your image using an external editing interface.
Resize - by clicking "Resize", you can easily resize your image by dragging the bottom right corner.
Settings - managing the image's technical settings such as size, frame, alt text and additional advanced options.
Link - you can link the image to another page in the system or to an external page.
