File Management

File Management

The file management tool is an interface that allows you to upload and manage files uploaded to the website.

The file management system allows the user to upload the following types of files:

1. Image files - jpg, gif, png

2. Video - mp4, flv

3. Audio - mp3

4. Flash - swf

The maximum file size for upload is 200MB.

In order to enter the file management tool, click Manage>>Manage Files.

At the right side of the file manager, you can see a list of files and the folder hierarchy.

Clicking the folder will display all of the files stored in it. You can identify the location in the file manager based on the folder icon.

Adding Files

Click "Add Files" to upload new files.

You can choose files by clicking "Browse". You can upload multiple files at once.

Enter a folder and click on the Add Files button in order to upload the files into this folder.

Filtering

This button allows you to filter and display a certain type of files in the management tool:

All files
Images
Documents
Flash
Movies
Sound

Choose Display

This button allows you to change the way files are displayed in the management tool.

Using the File

Click the Edit button under the file to open the editing options for the file.

The editing options available for image files allow you to edit the image size and provide you with advanced editing possibilities.

The advanced editing tool provides you with many image editing options.

File Details

Clicking a file will automatically open a window with the file details. This includes the file path, size, type, and the date on which it was uploaded or modified.

An additional click on the image will cancel the file details window.

At the bottom of the page, there is a search field that allows you to search a specific folder and two buttons that allow you to open and close folders.

Implementing a File

Implementation of the file in the website is done from the page manager using the drag and drop interface. Drag the image to the desired location on the page. Clicking "Replace" will allow you to choose a file from the file manager.
