Forum Management

In order to build a forum, you need to add the "Community" button to the management interface by clicking Features>>Community Manager>>Add.

In the community you can manage members and forums.

In this article we will focus on adding a forum and managing it on your website.

First, in order to add a forum, click Community>>Manage Forums.

In this window you can manage all of the forums, managers, comments, and more.

Forum List

In this page you can see a list of forums.

Any existing forum or forum you add will appear on this page. You can edit the forum, add or remove managers, manage members and manage requests.

Click Add new forum to create a new forum.

Adding/Editing Forums

In this window, you can define all of the forum's settings.

• Select a category - in the event that a category exists, you can choose it and attribute it to the forum.
• Enter a new category - create a new forum category. The forum will automatically be attributed to a new category.
• Forum name - enter the name of the forum.

More settings:

• Short description of the forum.
• Enter what the forum managers say.
• Enter the forum rules.
• Free text line.
• Lock the forum to members only? Checking this box will lock the forum to members registered to the website.
• Add a members page to the forum? When a visitor wants to add a new message to the forum, a registration window will open.

Design settings:

Here you can define the colors of the title and sub-title.

Note: The background color of the forum as well as the text in the header will always be white, therefore you need to adjust the colors of the forum to these default settings.

Statistics

In this window you can see all of the statistical data about the existing forums.

• Number of categories.
• Number of forums.
• Number of messages written in the forum.
• Total size of the forum files.
• Total size of the text in the forum.
• The message with the largest number of responses.
• 10 most viewed messages.
