Creating Hyperlink

Before you is a tutorial video about the process of creating a hyperlink in the system, whether it is a link to a page on the website, an external link, or a link to a file in the file manager.

Hyperlink

You can create a link to page or file on the website or outside of the website.
In this article we will discuss the possibilities of creating links in the system via text and image, how it's done, and how to add and edit hyperlinks.

Creating a link from text

In order to create a link from text, whether that link leads to a page on the site, a file, an external URL, or an email:

1. Enter the page in which you'd like to create the link and click on the text area in which you'd like the link to appear. In the menu that opens, click Edit.

2. Highlight the text you'd like to be linked with the mouse and using the World-like text editing toolbar, click the Hyperlink icon as shown in the below screenshot.

3. In the window that opens you can choose between the following options:

Page - in order to link the text to a page within the system, click "Page" and then "Choose Page" to get to the desired page.
Paste a link from an external website - this will allow you to link to a page not in the system. Paste a full link including http://.
Choose from the file manager - you can link the text to a file in the file manager.
Email - this links directly to the electronic mailbox. This option is suitable for when we provide customers with contact information.
Should a new window be opened? - Checking this option will open the link in a new window.
CSS styling - only for advanced customers.

4. When finished, click "Apply".

5. Click "Save" at the top left of the management system in order to save the changes made to the page.

Creating an image link

1. Go to the page you'd like the link to be in and click the relevant image. In the drop down menu that appears, click "Link".

2.In the window that opens you can choose from the following different link types:

Page - in order to link the text to a page within the system, click "Page" and then "Choose Page" to get to the desired page.
Paste a link from an external website - this will allow you to link to a page not in the system. Paste a full link including http://.
Choose from the file manager - you can link the text to a file in the file manager.
