How to add and manage a Forum?

To add a forum please do the following:

Click on "Tools" >> "Tools" >> "Forums" >> "Add/Edit Forum" >> "Add new forum". The following page will appear.

  • Select category - Allows you to add the forum to a specific category.
  • Enter a new category - Allows you to add a new category.
  • Forum name - Allows you to name your forum.

More settings

The "More settings" options will enable you to add advanced settings to your forum:

  • Short description of the forum - Allows you to add a description of the forum that will be visible in the forum page.
  • Enter what the forum managers say - Allows you to add a short message from the forum manager that will be visible in the forum page.
  • Enter the forum rules - Allows you to add the forum rules that will be visible in the forum page.
  • Free text line - Allows you to add free text that will be visible in the forum page.
  • Lock the forum to members only? - Allows you to lock the forum to be viewed by registered site members only.
  • Add a members page to the forum? - Adds a site member registration/login options to the forum.
  • Number of pages in the forum - Defines the number of pages that the forum has, when the quota is reached, old pages will be deleted automatically without the option of restoration.

Design settings

  • Title color - Changes the title color of the forum.
  • Subtitle color - Changes the text background color of the forum settings line.
  • Picture Add/Replace - Allows you to add a photo that will appear in the forum description.

Finally, click on "Apply" to finish.
