Mailboxes

This section describes all of the functions available for mailboxes managed by the system. Site owners can view mailbox passwords, check if the mailbox is defined to forward messages and create, edit and delete mailboxes.

Adding a new Mailbox

To add a new mailbox to the system, click on "New Mail Account". Enter the requested information in the window that appears:

• Enter the selected mailbox name in the "Mailbox Name" field and select the domain in which the mailbox will be located.
• Select a "user password" for the mailbox and enter it in the Password field.
• The "Mailbox Size" field will define the mailbox capacity. Users may want to restrict their mailbox size by defining it here, though Unlimited can be selected when necessary.
• Filling the "Forward" field will automatically forward all emails received to a different mailbox. Forwarding settings can be defined only for domains managed by our email server. If the user enables the forwarding option, the "Save copy of message in mailbox" checkbox can be selected if the user chooses to save messages in this mailbox after they have been forwarded.
• The "Associate Mailbox with Package field" allows the user to associate the mailbox with a specific package, for users with more than one site (package) in their accounts.

Click on "Apply" to create the mailbox.
