Add Image

In this short tutorial, we will cover the functionality of the Images element and explain how to add, style and position images.

Adding Image

The Images element can be found on the side Toolbar under Popular - to add an image, drag it to the page. Click on the default picture and then on Upload - the tool will offer you to upload your image from your desktop, from the site's file manager, from an external source or from our built-in free image bank.

Resizing Image

You can resize the image by simply dragging the orange borders that encircle the image once it is selected.

Contextual Menu

You can access the contextual menu by left-clicking on the image.

Upload - Upload your own image
To upload an image, left-click on the image and select Upload.

Edit - Implement changes to the image
You can crop, resize and apply visual effects to the image using the online Aviary image editor integrated into the system.

Settings - Set the ALT attribute
Through settings you can set the image’s ALT attribute.

Link - Link the image
Links the selected image. You can hyperlink the image to a page in the website, an externally hosted page, a file or an email address.

Style - Border and shadow styling
Opens the style interface, sets the border and shadow attributes.

Moving Image

You can change the position of any element by simply clicking on it and dragging it around the page.
